Football: Finals to stay in Citrus Bowl
The road to a state football championship still runs to Orlando.
Or, it will for the next three years.
The Florida High School Athletic Association announced Friday the state football finals will remain at the Citrus Bowl for the next three years.
St. Petersburg (Tropicana Field) and Miami (Sun Life Stadium) also bid to host the finals, but the FHSAA decided to stay in central Florida.
The Citrus Bowl has hosted the finals for the last four years.
