SARASOTA - Manatee and Palmetto are winners after the first day of the Sarasota Baseball Classic.
The Hurricanes defeated Dwyer 2-1, and Palmetto beat Royal Palm Beach 7-1.
Both advance to the second round of the Premier Bracket on Tuesday at sites and times to be determined.
