The Sarasota Baseball Classic tournament runs from Monday, March 14 to Thursday, March 17 at various sites around Sarasota County.
The tournament will be split into an Elite and Premier bracket, and will feature five area high schools, as well as the The Pendleton School.
Thirty-two teams overall will be competing in the Classic, which is celebrating its 26th anniversary.
Listed below are Monday's local first-round pairings.
ELITE BRACKET
Lakewood Ranch vs. West Boca, 5 p.m. at Buck O'Neil Baseball Complex, field 1
The Pendleton School vs. Coral Glades, 1 p.m., Riverview High School
PREMIER BRACKET
Cardinal Mooney vs. Pembroke Pines, 2:30 p.m. at Sarasota High School
Manatee vs. Palm Beach Dwyer, 5 p.m. at Buck O'Neil Baseball Complex, field 2
Braden River. vs. Royal Palm Beach, 5 p.m. at Buck O'Neil Baseball Complex, field 3
Palmetto vs. Cypress Bay, 5 p.m. at Buck O'Neil Baseball Complex, field 4
