Palmetto-Stanton underway

Palmetto's boys soccer class 4A state semifinal against Jacksonville Stanton is finally underway at Pepin Stadium at the University of Tampa.
The game got off to a late start because the first semifinal between New Port Richey Mitchell and Pembroke Pines Charter went to penalty kicks.
Mitchell won 1-0 (3-1 PKs) and plays the winner of the Palmetto-Stanton game 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
