Lakewood Ranch's softball team makes its second straight trip to the Class 6A state semifinals Friday when the Mustangs meet Lake City Columbia at 4 p.m. Vero Beach Sports Village.

The winner plays either Gainesville or Pembroke Pines Charter at 4:35 on Saturday for the state title.
