Prep volleyball: District pairings

Saint Stephen's Tori Biach, wearing  green, and the Falcons earned the top seed for next week's Class 3A-District 10 tournament.

 Two area teams earned No.1 seeds for next week's district volleyball tournaments, which get underway Monday.
The pairings for each district are listed below. The top two finishers advance to the regional tournament, which get underway  Tuesday, Oct. 30 (Class 8A, 6A, 4A and 2A) and Wednesday, Oct. 31 (7A, 5A, 3A).
Seeds are in parentheses.

CLASS 7A-DISTRICT 11
MONDAY - (5) Charlotte at (4) Sarasota, 7 p.m.; (6) Port Charlotte at (3) Braden River, 7 p.m.
TUESDAY - (1) Venice* at Charlotte/Sarasota, 7 p.m.; Port Charlotte/Braden River at (2) Manatee, 7 p.m.
THURSDAY - Championship, 7 p.m. at highest remaining seed*
* - Venice is not permitted to host a postseason match per the Florida High School Athletic Association.

CLASS 6A-DISTRICT 12
MONDAY - (5) St. Petersburg Dixie Hollins at (4) Largo, 7 p.m.
TUESDAY -  (3) Palmetto at (2) Seminole Osceola, 7 p.m.; Largo/Dixie Hollins at (1) Lakewood Ranch, 7 p.m.
THURSDAY - Championship, 7 p.m.

CLASS 5A-DISTRICT 12
MONDAY - (5) Gulfport Boca Ciega at (4) Bayshore, 7 p.m.; (6) St. Petersburg Gibbs at (3) Southeast, 7 p.m.
TUESDAY - Gulfport Boca Ciega/Bayshore at (1) Dunedin, 7 p.m.; Gibbs/Southeast at (2) St. Petersburg Lakewood, 7 p.m.
THURSDAY - Championship, 7 p.m.

CLASS 3A-DISTRICT 10 at BRADENTON CHRISTIAN
TUESDAY - (3) Out-of-Door Academy vs. (2) Cardinal Mooney, 5:30 p.m.; (4) Bradenton Christian vs. (1) Saint Stephen's, 7 p.m.
THURSDAY - Championship, 7 p.m.
