Prep golf: Postseason play gets underway next week

Ramsey Touchberry and Lakewood Ranch's boys golf team will compete in the Class 2A-District 13 meet 8 a.m. Monday at The Founders Club

The fall postseason is officially upon us, as district golf begins Monday at various sites around the state.
Listed below are the meets involving area team.

BOYS
Class 2A-District 13
When: 8 a.m. Monday
Where: The Founders Club, Sarasota
Locals: Bayshore, Braden River, Lakewood Ranch, Manatee, Palmetto.
Rest of field: North Port, Riverview, Sarasota, Venice.
Up next: Region 5 meet 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22 at Heritage Oaks Golf and Country Club, Sarasota.

Class 1A-District 16
When: 9 a.m. Monday
Where: Bradenton Country Club
Locals: Bradenton Christian, Cardinal Mooney, Out-of-Door Academy, Saint Stephen's, Southeast.
Rest of field: Arcadia DeSoto, Lake Placid, Sarasota Christian, Wauchula Hardee.
Up next: Region 6 meet 11:15 Monday, Oct. 22 at Coral Oaks Country Club, Cape Coral.

GIRLS
Class 2A-District 13
When: 11:30 a.m. Monday
Where: Bradenton Country Club
Locals: Bayshore, Braden River, Lakewood Ranch, Manatee, Palmetto.
