Prep football: Associated Press announces All-State teams

Palmetto's Josh Hicks is one of a number of Bradenton-area football players named to the Associated Press' All-State teams.

The Associated Press released its All-State football teams Monday morning. The teams were chosen by newspaper reporters and editors from around the state.

FIRST TEAM - Demarcus Christmas, DL, Manatee
SECOND TEAM - Trevon Walters, RB, Manatee; Michael Galati, OL, Manatee
THIRD TEAM - Kyle Mauk, OL, Manatee
HONORABLE MENTION - Greg Reaves, LB, Manatee
