Prep football: Southeast's Poole named an All-America

(photo by Tiffany Tompkins-Condie)Southeast defensive back Brian Poole has been named an Under Armour All-America, according to Corey Long, a college football recruiting writer with ESPN.com.
Poole will play in the Under Armour All-America Game, scheduled for early January at Tropicana Field.
"I think Brian is one of the top athletes in the nation, and he's also a fine young man," Long said. "He's a dynamic player on the field and we're very excited for him to have the opportunity to close out his high school football career in front of his family and friends."
Another Noles defensive back, Jonathan Dowling, was picked to play in the 2010 game. He recorded a pair of interceptions.
Poole will be a senior in the fall. He and the Seminoles host Venice at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 27 in a spring game.
