Manatee, IMG Acadamies, Lakewood Ranch and Palmetto had at least one player take away personal honors from the Sarasota Baseball Classic.
IMG's Alfredo Escalera was named the MVP of the Premier Division and teammate Mack Mayer was named the division's best pitcher after both helped IMG win the championship. Escalera hit a walk-off home run and Mayer took a perfect game into the sixth inning of the final against Miami Coral Reef, which IMG won 1-0.
Lakewood Ranch's Zach Larson was named the best hitter of the Elite Division, where the Mustangs went 2-2.
Manatee's Cord Sandberg and Palmetto's John Collins were named to the all-tournament team.
