Southeast and Manatee went in different directions in the latest Associated Press Top 10 Florida high school poll, which was released Tuesday.
The Seminoles moved up to No. 4 in Class 5A following Thursday's 21-13 win over Largo. Glades Central is ranked No.1, earning 15 of 16 first-place votes.
The Class 7A Hurricanes dropped five spots to No. 8 following their 24-17 loss to Our Lady of Good Counsel on Friday in double overtime.
Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas, which beat Manatee in the Class 5A state semifinals en route to winning a state title last year, is the unanimous No.1, having earned all 16 first-place votes.
