Southeast senior Charles Wyatt Fulgham is one of four recipients of the David Logan Scholarship, named for the late anchor at Bright House Sports Network.
According to the network's website, Fulgham is enrolled at Southeast's International Baccalaureate program and competed in cross country, tennis, soccer and swimming. He overcame a back injury in 2012 that required surgery and the insertion of metal rods.
Fulgham is also president of the school's Future Farmers of American and National Honors Society chapters, and is awaiting appointment to the United States Naval Academy.
Over 400 student-athletes applied for the scholarship, according to Bright House. It was open to any student-athlete attending school in one of the BHSN's viewing areas and sported a grade-point average of at least 3.5.
A former Tampa Bay Buccaneer, Logan passed away in January 1999.
