Prep swimming: Intramural dive team hitting Manatee County

Manatee County's first intramural dive team will have its first practice 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at G.T. Bray. The team will be coached by Carl Springfels,a longtime diver and coach whose son, David, dives at Florida. David is an alum of Saint Stephen's.
Practices will be Monday and Wednesday and will last an hour. The cost is $45 a month or $5 for intermittent practice, and practices are open to everyone.
